Stars' Winning Streak Snapped At Five

A five-game winning streak was snapped for the Huntsville Stars as they fell to the Pensacola BlueWahoos by a score of 7-5. For the Stars, Evan Anundsen fell to 5-7 with the loss after giving up four runs in 4.2 innings pitched. On offense, Stars left fielder Khris Davis hit his fifth homerun in as many nights with a solo shot in the fourth inning off of BlueWahoos starter J.C Sulburan. Davis is now just one more homer shy of the Southern League record (6) set by Derek Lee in 1996.

The final game of a five-game series and nine-game road trip for the Stars will take place on Friday. First pitch is at 6:35 PM.
