Barrie, ON - The Barrie Colts have announced today that they have acquired forward Dylan Corson from the Belleville Bulls.

Corson, 18, has spent the last two years with the Bulls and was originally selected in the 6th round, 103rd overall by Belleville in 2010.

"Dylan has gained valuable experience in the league having began his junior career as an underage player," said Colts GM Jason Ford.

Last year Corson put up two goals and eight assists while collecting 83 penalty minutes in 67 regular season games.

"He is a smart player that brings a lot of intangibles and character to the hockey club. He plays the game hard, and likes to get under his opponents' skin. We are very pleased to add a player like Dylan and he will be an important member of the club moving forward," added Ford.

In exchange the Colts sent the Bulls a third round pick in the 2014 Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection that originally belonged to Mississauga.
