(GREENVILLE, S.C.) Behind strong pitching by starter Mike Foltynewicz and two relievers, the Lexington Legends took a 4-2 win over the Greenville Drive Wednesday night in Greenville.

The Legends scored two runs without a hit in the second inning. Matt Duffy led off with a walk, went to second on a wild pitch and scored when Drew Muren's fly ball down the left field line was dropped by left fielder Keury De La Cruz for an error. After Mike Kvasnicka struck out, Chris Epps' infield out moved Muren to third, from where he scored on a wild pitch by Greenville starter Madison Younginer

The Legends added a run in the fourth when Zach Johnson tripled to center field and came home when shortstop Jose Vinicio's relay throw to third went into the dugout.

Greenville scored its first run in the bottom of the fifth. Henry Ramos doubled with one out, and moved to third as Jordan Weems reached first on an error by shortstop Jimmy Howick. Vinicio's sacrifice fly scored Ramos, cutting the Legends' lead to two at 3-1.

The Legends answered with a run in the sixth. With two outs and no one on base, Muren walked, and came around to score when right fielder Ramos lost a fly ball hit by Kvasnicka. The ball fell for a double, and Muren scored before Kvasnicka was thrown out trying to go to third.

Greenville scored its final run in the bottom of the seventh when Vinicio tripled and came home on an error by Epps, the right fielder.
