Saskatoon Blades Host Tigers for Games 3 and 4

The Saskatoon Blades are looking for the bounce back, this time in their own barn.

The Blades return home after falling in the first two games of their WHL playoff series against the Medicine Hat Tigers.

The Tigers opened the series with a 5-2 victory on Friday night and followed that performance with a 5-3 victory on Saturday to take a 2-0 series lead.

The Blades return to a place where they were very good against the competition this year. Saskatoon went 24-11-0-1 on home ice this season. They also outscored the opposition 161 to 127 while playing at the Credit Union Centre.

This is now your chance to stand up and get loud Saskatoon! The Blades are down and need that extra push from the fans starting tomorrow night in game 3.

The first two games of the series against the Tigers have been exciting and physical. You won't want to miss games 3 and 4.

- The Saskatoon Blades have introduced a new, convenient 'You Pay as We Play' format to purchase Playoff Packages. As Season Ticket Holders and new Blade fans confirm their seats for playoffs, there will be a small charge immediately for the first two guaranteed home games of Round 1. From that point onward 'You Pay as We Play', where fans will have the price of only the very next game charged to their credit card.

- The Saskatoon Blades are set to auction off a great piece of Blades merchandise during game three on Tuesday night as the jersey auction will be for a Dalton Thrower Saskatoon Quakers sweater.

- As you all know, the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup is coming to Saskatoon! The best way to get your seat for that event now is to buy a Blades season ticket for next year! All it takes is a $50 deposit to ensure your season seat for next year as well as to lock in your same seat for the 2013 MasterCard Memorial Cup, so make sure you call 975-8844 today.

- What happened to former Blade Duncan MacPherson? That's the question many people have asked since Duncan disappeared over 20 years ago. Well, a new book might just have all the answers. The book "Cold A Long Time" by author John Leake is now available in the Saskatoon Blades team store. Not only will it answer questions, but 25% of all book sales will go towards Duncan's parents, who spent their retirement money looking for answers into their sons disappearance.
