THIS WEEK'S GAMES

Friday, Jan. 27 vs. Texas Stars

AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

The Rampage play host to the Texas Stars on Friday at the AT&T Center for a Lone Star Faceoff matchup. Texas enters the week with a record of 20-18-1-2 and sits fifth in the West Division with 43 points.

Saturday, Jan. 28 vs. Houston Aeros

AT&T Center, 7:00 p.m.

San Antonio faces off against the Houston Aeros on Saturday night for their 10th contest versus Houston this year. The Rampage, who beat the Aeros twice over the weekend, are 3-5-1-0 against their I-10 rivals in 2011-12.

Jan. 27: Every Friday fans can get $1 draft beer and $1 fountain soda.

FAITH & FAMILY NIGHT

Jan. 28: $5 from every ticket will benefit Daily Bread Ministries to help fight hunger in the San Antonio community.

RAMPAGE ROLLING: San Antonio is currently on a five-game winning streak, their longest of the 2011- 12 season. During their run, which began on Jan. 14, the Rampage have gone 5-17 on the power play and have scored a goal with the man advantage in a season-high four consecutive contests. They have outscored their opponents 16-8 overall in that period.

CULLEN IN CRUISE CONTROL: Rampage center Mark Cullen is riding a five-game point streak in which he has tallied a goal and five assists. He has posted five goals and 21 helpers in 30 games this year and has scored two goals to go along with seven assists in nine January contests.

DOV DOES IT AGAIN: San Antonio goalie Dov Grumet-Morris has been between the pipes for all five games in the Rampage winning streak and maintains a record of 11-5-0 with two shutouts in 17 games this season. Both his 1.99 goals against average and his .931 save percentage rank second in the AHL in their respective categories.

BBM LINE PICKS UP WHERE IT LEFT OFF: Since being reunited on Jan. 10 against Abbotsford, the Rampage's line of Bill Thomas, Bracken Kearns, and Mark Cullen has registered six goals and nine assists in six games. In 13 contests together this season the trio has produced 45 points (18 goals, 27 assists) and is plus-28 as a unit.

BARLOW EARNS AHL DEAL: San Antonio left wing Evan Barlow was rewarded for his stellar play during his professional try-out with an AHL contract last week. He has scored three goals and six assists in his past 12 games and has posted six goals and 11 assists in 28 contests since joining the Rampage on Nov. 17.

ICE CHIPS: Jon Matsumoto - Center

Center Jon Matsumoto has registered three goals and two assists in three games since being acquired by the Ram- page from the Charlotte Checkers last week. He also scored a shootout goal against the Houston Aeros yesterday. Dat- ing back to his last games with the Checkers, Matsumoto is riding a six-game point streak in which he has notched three goals and seven assists.

The 25-year-old Ottawa, Ontario native has totaled 16 goals and 23 assists in 44 combined games with San Antonio and Charlotte in 2011-12. A third-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers in 2006, Matsumoto has compiled 117 goals and 143 helpers in 360 career AHL contests.
