
Tanev Returns to Chicago

The Vancouver Canucks have reassigned defenseman CHRIS TANEV to the Chicago Wolves.
TANEV skated in one game with the Canucks after being recalled on Jan. 18. He has appeared in four contests with Vancouver this season.
The 22-year-old blueliner paces Wolves defensemen with a career-high 12 assists and ranks second among team rear guards with a career-best 12 points in 25 games this season. He also has posted a +5 plus/minus rating this year and has notched an even or plus rating in 13 of his last 15 matchups.
The Toronto, native made his NHL debut with the Canucks last year, collecting one assist in 29 contests during his professional debut. He also collected 8 assists, 9 points and 16 penalty minutes in 39 American Hockey League tilts with the Manitoba Moose last season.
