Ducks Recall Guenin and Jacques

Syracuse, NY (November 15, 2011) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have recalled defenseman Nate Guenin and left wing J.F. Jacques.

Guenin, 28, has recorded two points (2a) in 10 games with the Crunch this season. Guenin played two games with Anaheim this year, scoring his first career NHL goal on Oct. 7 against Buffalo. Originally drafted by the New York Rangers in the fourth round, 127th overall, of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, the Ducks acquired Guenin from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for Trevor Smith on January 4, 2011.

Jacques, 26, appeared in 10 games with Syracuse this season totaling eight points (4g, 4a). Jacques was acquired by Anaheim as a free agent on July 6, 2011. He was originally drafted by Edmonton in the second round, 68thoverall, of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The Crunch travel to Rochester Wednesday, November 16 to take on I-90 rivals the Americans.
