Chiefs Add Hauptman to Roster

The Spokane Chiefs have added 17-year-old Jarid Hauptman to their roster. The Morinville, Alberta native will join the Chiefs on the road this week when they travel to play at Vancouver on Wednesday and Kamloops on Friday. Spokane will host the Kelowna Rockets on Saturday night.

Hauptman was Spokane's fifth round selection in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft and scored 30 points, including 13 goals, in 60 games last year with the Drayton Valley Thunder of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He had four goals and seven points in 10 games this year in Drayton Valley.

The addition gives the Chiefs 25 players on their roster; three goaltenders, nine defensemen and 13 forwards.
