Warriors Make Deal With Silvertips

Moose Jaw, SK.---The Warriors have acquired 19yr old Luke Siemens from the Everett Silvertips in exchange for the rights to 18yr old Matt Grant, along with a 3rd round pick in the 2012 Bantam Draft and 3rd round pick in the 2013 Bantam Draft. Luke hails from Delta, BC and stands in at 6'0", 190 lbs.

Luke played in 23 games for the Silvertips last season, posting a record of 7 wins, 13 losses and 2 overtime losses, with a GAA of 3.03 and an SV% of 0.917. In his one appearance this season he posted a .947 SV% and a 1.85 GAA in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Portland Winterhawks

Luke will report to the Warriors this week and is expected to be in the lineup this Wednesday against the visiting Hurricanes.
