Tonight, the SeaWolves look to get back on track as they begin the unofficial second half of the season, opening up a four-game series against the Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) at Jerry Uht Park. The SeaWolves ended an eight-game road trip with a 6-3 loss on Monday night in Akron. Erie finished the road trip 1-7 and the rough patch dropped the club back to its low water mark of four games under .500. The SeaWolves can split the season series with the Curve if they can muster a four-game sweet...Lefty Jay Voss takes the mound for the SeaWolves making his 10th start and first against the Curve. He did not allow a run in four relief appearances against Altoona in 2010. Voss took a loss in his last start at Akron on July 8. In the game, he allowed four runs on six hits with a walk and six strikeouts. Erie lost the game 4-1 and the loss evened Voss' record to 4-4...RHP Michael Colla takes the the mound for the Curve making his 20th appearance and 15th start. This is the 15th consecutive start for Colla who began the year out of the bullpen. Colla took a loss in his last start against Akron allowing four runs on seven hits with three walks and two strikeouts in five innings. Colla has lost three of his last four starts. Colla has made three appearances, two starts, against the SeaWolves and is 1-0 with a 3.21 ERA against Erie this season...Both Francisco Martinez and Jacob Turner have been activated from the Erie Temporary Inactive List after participating in the XM Future's Game.
