
Captains Host Lugnuts for Three Games this Weekend Featuring Fireworks, Faith Night, Bike Night and

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, 2010 Midwest League Champions and class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, return home for a brief three-game home stand beginning Saturday as the Lansing Lugnuts (Blue Jays affiliate) make their final appearance at Classic Park this season. All three games begin at 7 PM.
Saturday is a Saturday Fireworks night presented by Monreal Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
Irish Heritage Night is Saturday as well featuring traditional Irish fare for sale in the concessions stands, including corned beef sandwiches, bangers and mash and Irish coffee. Entertainment will include the Black Sheep Pipers and the Lenaghan Dancers. The Captains will host an Irish themed jersey auction following the game where fans can bid on the jerseys worn by their favorite Captains player during that night's game.
It is also Bike Night when the Captains will offer free parking to all motorcycles in the Lake Heath Plaza and the first 150 bikes will have the opportunity to be on the field for the National Anthem. There will be contests for the best moustache and best motorcycle during the night's festivities.
Sunday is an Andrews Osborne Academy Family Fun Sunday and will feature a pre-game player autograph session, expanded concourse entertainment and activities, an enhanced Kids' Zone area with new inflatables and the opportunity for kids to run the bases after the game. Kids who run the bases after the game will receive an Andrews Osborne Academy water bottle.
The Captains will host its fourth annual pre-game Catholic Mass on Sunday as part of Faith Night presented by 95.5 FM THE FISH. The Mass will begin at 5 PM and it will be led again by Father Bob Stec from St. Ambrose Church in Brunswick, with musical accompaniment by members of The Fest. Gates open at 4:30 PM.
Monday is Buck Night, presented by PNC, and will feature $1 Five Star Brand Hot Dogs, fries, chips, onion rings, popcorn, soda and beer.
