Bowling Green Hot Rods News Release
Bowling Green, KY - Heavy afternoon rains left conditions unplayable at Bowling Green Ballpark on Friday night, wiping out the scheduled game between the Hot Rods and Lake County Captains. The teams will play two games on Friday night beginning at 5:35 PM.
Friday's entire schedule for Faith and Family Night presented by Liberty University will go on as planned between the two seven-inning contests. These activities will include a special concert by Christian Recording Artist Jamie Jamgochian, a performance by Omega Force Strength Team, and a Hot Rods player testifying about the role his faith has played in his life on and off the field. Liberty will also award one local student a $16,000 scholarship to pursue an education at the Evangelical school in Virginia.
Hot Rods Playoff Strips are on sale now. Bowling Green will host Games 2 and 3 (if necessary) of the first round playoff series on September 8 and 9 at Bowling Green Ballpark. 2011 Playoff Ticket Strips include a box seat to all six potential home playoff games and a limited edition Hot Rods Playoff T-Shirt for just $60.
