SOUTHAVEN, MS --- The Mississippi RiverKings of the Central Hockey League today announced they have waived forward Jeff Christian.
In 52 games with the RiverKings this season, Christian scored 14 goals and added 25 assists for 39 points. Christian was -12 in the plus-minus statistic and collected 42 penalty minutes.
Mississippi next plays the Tulsa Oilers in a two-game weekend set this Friday and Saturday night at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven. Both games start at 7:05 PM. Friday is "Go Red For Women" Night for the American Heart and Stroke Association and Saturday's game supports the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
