February 5, 2011 - NBA G League (G League)
Dakota Wizards News Release

Bismarck, N.D. (Feb. 5, 2011) - The Dakota Wizards announced today that they have acquired center Chris Ayer (6-10 250, Loyola Marymount) via the Available Player Pool. Ayer will be in uniform tonight as the Wizards play host to the Maine Red Claws.

Ayer, 28, is no stranger to the NBA D-League as he played for the Springfield Armor and Utah Flash in the 2009-10 season averaging 5.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 16 games (1 start). He most recently played for Rera Kamuy Hokkaido of the Japanese basketball league and averaged 7.4 points and 5.5 rebounds in 14 games.

To make room for Ayer on the roster the Wizards waived forward Dominique Scales due to personal reasons. The current roster stands at 10 players.

Season tickets and 5-ticket flex packs for the 2010-11 season are on sale. Single game tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster or the Civic Center Box Office. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more. For more information contact the Dakota Wizards at (701) 258-2255.
