Tulsa Falls Short in Texas, 110-94

FRISCO, Texas - Byron Mullens posted a double-double with 20 points and a game-high 12 rebounds and Elijah Millsap added 19 points and a team-high six assists but the Tulsa 66ers (23-8) fell short to the Texas Legends (16-14) on the road by a 110-94 final Saturday evening in Frisco.

Also recording double figures in the scoring column for Tulsa was Robert Vaden with 16 and Marcus Lewis and Ryan Reid each with 10.

The game, played inside Dr. Pepper Arena, featured 20 lead changes and 12 ties.

Offensively, Tulsa recorded 26 assists on the evening. On the boards, the 66ers held a distinct 49-32 advantage.

Larry Owens returned to the lineup for the 66ers after a GATORADE Call-Up to the San Antonio Spurs. Owens posted six points and three rebounds. However, Tulsa was without point guard Tweety Carter for the third straight game and forward Latavious Williams for the second consecutive contest, both due to injuries.

Leading the way for Texas was Antonio Daniels with a game-high 27 points and Joe Alexander with 16 points and 10 boards.

Despite the defeat, Tulsa remains in first place in the Western Conference.

The 66ers will return to the court next Friday, Feb. 11 when they host the Utah Flash inside the Tulsa Convention Center at 7 p.m. CT. The game will mark the team's annual "Thunder Affiliate Night."
