Royals' Olivier Labelle and Chris Blight Loaned to Bridgeport

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League and the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League, today announced that forwards Olivier Labelle and Chris Blight have been loaned by the Royals to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the AHL. This year, Labelle, who hails from St. Eustache, Quebec, has scored eight goals and assisted on two others (ten points) in thirteen games with the Royals. He leads the team with forty-eight penalty minutes. This is the first call-up of the season for Labelle, who has played in ninety AHL games in his five year playing career. Blight, who hails from Cambridge, Ontario, has scored two goals and picked up eight assists (ten points) in six games with Reading this year. This is also the first call-up of the season for Blight, who has played thirty-two AHL games in his six year playing career.

The Royals take on the Trenton Devils on the back-end of a home-and-home tonight (Friday, November 19, 2010 @ 7:05 pm) at Sovereign Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. The Royals Game Night Broadcast will kick off with the pre-game warm-up show presented by The Works at Wyomissing will kick off on the Royals Broadcast Network (WRAW 1340 am in Reading, www.1340wraw.com) at 6:35 pm.
