The 18-year-old McDonald then put the Chiefs on the board at 9:03 of the second with the Chiefs skating on a man-advantage of their own. The Chiefs enjoyed one of their four power play chances with seven-and-a-half minutes remaining but couldn't put the puck past the American's Chris Driedger again. He finished with 42 saves. Spokane was 1-4 on the power play and 7-9 on the penalty kill.
