
Baseball Card Giveaway, Fireworks, Halloween and Bark in the Park Highlight Four-Game Home Stand

Lake County Captains News Release
(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, Class A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, return home for a four-game home stand beginning Saturday at 7 PM against the South Bend Silver hawks, an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The Captains are hosting a special food drive during the entire home stand as the Captains will offer a $2 discount off any adult box seat ticket if fans bring cans or bags of cat or dog food to the any game. The food will be donated to the Lake Humane Society and the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
Saturday the first 1,500 fans will receive one half of the 2010 Captains Team Baseball Card Set, presented by Lake County Solid Waste District. The other half of the team set will be given away on Sunday. There will be a jersey auction as the Captains will wear pink jerseys with the proceeds of the auction benefiting Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. A fireworks show will follow the 7 PM game presented by Discount Drug Mart.
Sunday at 1 PM is a Family Fun Sunday presented by Andrews Osborne Academy which features a pre-game player autograph session, lots of concourse entertainment and the opportunity for kids to run the bases after the game. In addition, kids who are part of Skipper's Lil' Buddies Club will have the opportunity to announce players over the public address system and sit in the radio booth during the game. The first 1,500 fans will receive the second half of the 2010 Captains Team Baseball Card Set, presented by Lake County Solid Waste District.
Monday is PNC Buck Night, featuring 50-cent hot dogs and a $1 concession menu that includes fries, popcorn, onion rings, fountain soda and ten ounce domestic draft beer. Game time is 7:00 PM
Tuesday is Two-for-Tuesdays and Kids Eat Free. Kids 12 and under with a paid admission receive a voucher for a free hot dog, fries and soda when they enter Classic Park. The Captains will offer a buy-one-get-one free special on hot dogs, fries, onion rings, chips, soft pretzels and popcorn. Fans can also receive a buy-one get-one free ticket offer by bringing a KRAFT Singles wrapper to the Classic Park box. For more information on the offer, visit kraftsingles.com.
Tuesday the Captains encourage fans and their dogs to wear their favorite Halloween costumes as the Captains will celebrate an early Halloween as well as the second Bark in the Park night of the season. The stadium will be decorated for the occasion and for $5, fans can bring their canine companions to the game and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Lake Humane Society and the Cleveland Animal Protective League. FOX 8's Dick Goddard will sing "Take Me Out the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch.
The Captains will also welcome members of the 19 Action News team to the park on Tuesday. Sportscaster Tony Zarrella, meteorologist Jeff Tanchak and entertainment reporter Chris Van Vliet will do live updates on 19 Action News from the ballpark prior to and during the game and will be throwing out ceremonial first pitches.
TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Fans may visit CaptainsBaseball.com for information on alternate routes to and from Classic Park during the current construction that is taking place on Route 91. The Captains are working with the City of Eastlake and ODOT to ensure the smoothest possible traffic flow for fans attending games at Classic Park until the construction is completed.
