
Columbus Completes Sweep of PawSox

Pawtucket Red Sox News Release
The PawSox had plenty of offense on Monday night, but little pitching as the Clippers finished the sweep with an 11-7 win. Pawtucket has dropped 9 of its last 10 games. Mark Holliman was largely ineffective, allowing 7 runs on 5 hits and 7 walks in 4.2 innings. Luis Valbuena had a pair of home runs and 5 RBI. Jordan Brown went 3-3 with a homer and 4 RBI.
The PawSox countered with 4 home runs. Lars Anderson, Ryan Shealy, Gustavo Molina and Ryan Kalish all went deep. Justin Germano earned the win. He is 3-2.
The PawSox are now a season low 15 games under .500 (44-59). Pawtucket begins a 4 game series in Toledo on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Ramon Ramirez (1-2, 5.55) faces Charlie Furbush (0-0, 4.50).
