FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THREE GAMES WITH THE BEES JUMP START LONG HOMESTAND
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers begin a nine-game homestand on Saturday night with game one of a three game series against the Burlington Bees. The Rattlers welcome Burlington into Time Warner Cable Field from July 10-12. There is a scheduled off day for the team on Tuesday July 13. Then, Lansing (July 14-16) and Great Lakes (July 17-19) make the trip into town from the Eastern Division to wrap up the homestand. Here is a look at the first three games of the home stand:
- SATURDAY, JULY 10 at 6:35pm; FOX 11 FIREWORKS NIGHT: Area Taco Bell restaurants are providing tickets for area Boys' and Girls' Club members and there will be some in-game T-Shirt toss promotions as part of Taco Bell Night. The band 1st Degree will be playing outside the stadium from 4:45pm to 6:15pm. There is also a scheduled postgame fireworks display sponsored by FOX 11. Plus, it is a Fruit Roll-Ups Fun Night! Fans aged 13 and up will receive a free sample of Fruit Roll-Ups on the way out of the stadium.
- SUNDAY, JULY 11 at 1:05pm; Brewers Sunday presented by 107.5 The Fan: Milwaukee Brewers legend Cecil Cooper will be making an appearance at the game. He will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game. Cooper will also be available for pictures and autographs during the game. As part of Brewers Sunday, Timber Rattlers players will be wearing jerseys and caps based on those of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers. Sunday is Strike Out Cancer Day, too. A dollar from every ticket sold on Sunday, July 11 will be donated to area charities that fight cancer. Cancer survivors may take part in an on-field parade before the game. Shear Chaos Salon will be on hand to cut hair from fans who wish to donate to the Locks of Love program. Fans may play catch on the field before the game. There is a scheduled post-game autograph session with the players for all fans. Additionally, Time Warner Cable subscribers may bring in their bill and receive up to four half priced reserve seat tickets.
- MONDAY, JULY 12 at 12:05pm; Qdoba Q*Monday: Fans receive a free ticket to any Monday home game when they purchase a lunch entrée at the Qdoba by the Fox River Mall on Monday. It is also a Daycare/Park & Rec Day at Time Warner Cable Field. Groups from area daycares or Park & Recreation Departments interested in attending this matinee should contact a Timber Rattlers group sales representative to receive a special discount.
Tickets are available for all 2010 Timber Rattlers home games and may be purchased one of three ways: On-line at www.timberrattlers.com , over the phone at 800-WI-TIMBER, or in person at the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office.
