Portland Sea Dogs News Release
PORTLAND, Maine (May 4, 2010) - Dunkin' Donuts, Maine's all-day, everyday stop for coffee and baked goods, today announced the 2010 Dunkin' Dugout program with the Portland Sea Dogs. The program, spearheaded by local franchisees, provides 200 children throughout Maine the opportunity to attend a Sea Dogs game, meet players and be recognized during game festivities. Submissions are now being accepted from youth and charitable organizations.
All of the over 150 Dunkin' Donuts stores in Maine are locally-owned and operated, with strong ties to their communities. The program is another way Dunkin' Donuts franchisees further support local youth organizations throughout the state. Each group selected will receive 20 tickets to one designated game-courtesy of Dunkin' Donuts-for one of the following games:
Saturday, May 22 vs. Trenton Thunder, 1 p.m.
Thursday, June 17 vs. Erie SeaWolves, 6 p.m.
Wednesday, June 30, vs. Harrisburg Senators, 7 p.m.
Sunday, July 11 vs. New Britain Rock Cats, 1 p.m.

Sunday, July 25 vs. Harrisburg Senators, 1 p.m.
Saturday, August 7 vs. Richmond Flying Squirrels, 6 p.m.
Wednesday, August 18 vs. Altoona Curve, 7 p.m.

"We have been overwhelmed by the community response to the program. The success of Dunkin' Dugout underscores both the community's love for the Sea Dogs and our franchisees' efforts to continually think of new ways to support their communities," said Dana Reid, field marketing manager for Dunkin' Donuts in Maine. "We're thrilled to be able to continue this program and the many upcoming community programs we have planned in 2010."
