The Springfield Falcons started out strong taking a two-goal second period lead, but in the end, fell short to the Adirondack Phantoms 4-3 on Friday night at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
After a scoreless first period, the Falcons opened the scoring in the second period when Taylor Chorney converted on the power play giving Springfield a 1-0 lead.
