2010 Time Warner Cable All-Star Classic Tickets Now on Sale

PORTLAND, ME - The Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League announced today that tickets for the 2010 Time Warner Cable All-Star Classic are now on sale by calling (207) 775-3458, visiting the Cumberland County Civic Center Box Office or going on-line at www.portlandpirates.com.

Tickets for the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic - which include admission to both the 2010 AHL All-Star Skills Competition at 8 p.m. on Monday, January 18th and the 2010 AHL All-Star Game at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19th, as well as an official commemorative All-Star Classic event program - are $49 (rows 1-12 in all sections) and $42 (rows 13-24 in all sections). The Pirates are also offering special rates in rows 13-24 for groups of 25 or more, with tickets priced at $29 for either night or $36 for both.

Pirates Start Busy Three-in-Three Weekend

PORTLAND, Maine - The Portland Pirates get knee deep into the American Hockey League Regular Season this weekend with three games in three days.

The busy stretch starts tonight (Friday) when the Pirates travel to Albany to face-off against the River Rats. The game can be heard live on News Talk WLOB 95.5FM and on line at www.portlandpirates.com .

Saturday Portland returns home to meet Providence in the 2009-10 Home Opener at 7 p.m. at the Cumberland County Civic Center. The first ever Treasure Chest contest, magnetic schedule giveaway and USA Hockey Member Night highlight the beginning of the home portion of the Pirates 2009-10 regular season schedule. Tickets for the home opener, as well as all other Pirates home games at the Cumberland County Civic Center, are now on sale by calling (207) 775-3458, visiting the Cumberland County Civic Center Box Office or going on-line at www.portlandpirates.com .

The weekend wraps up Sunday with an afternoon game in Lowell against the Devils at 4 p.m. The game can be heard live on News Talk WLOB 95.5FM and on line at www.portlandpirates.com .

Dunkin' Donuts & Portland Pirates to Launch 'Kids Corner' Program

PORTLAND, Maine - Dunkin' Donuts shops in Maine announced earlier this week that they have partnered with the Portland Pirates on a program that will send one youth group to each of the Pirates 36 homes games this season.

The program, called the "Dunkin' Donuts Kids' Corner," kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 10 when the Pirates play their first home game against the Providence Bruins at 7 p.m.

Dunkin' Donuts is currently accepting submissions from youth and charitable organizations interested in attending a game via email at dunkinkidscorner@gmail.com.

Tickets for First HSBC Game Now on Sale

BUFFALO, NY - The Buffalo Sabres announced Wednesday that tickets for the Thursday, November 12 (7 p.m.) game between the Portland Pirates and Rochester Americans at HSBC Arena are now on sale.

Ticket prices range from $15-$25, with groups of 15 or more receiving $5 off the box office price. To purchase tickets or for more information, call 1-888-GO-SABRES or visit www.sabres.com .

Portland and Rochester will also play at HSBC Arena on Sunday, March 7 at 4 p.m. Ticket information for that game will be announced at a later date.
