New England Revolution News Release
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - After opening SuperLiga 2009 with a 4-2 victory over Mexican Primera División club Santos Laguna last night at Gillette Stadium, the New England Revolution will train in Foxborough five times this week in preparation for the club's two remaining SuperLiga Group B matches. The Revs will host both games at Gillette Stadium, first welcoming the Kansas City Wizards to Foxborough at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, before entertaining Mexican club Atlas at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 28.
The Revs will train on the Lower Practice Field at Gillette Stadium on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, while they were also scheduled to train on the stadium field on Monday morning. All sessions are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. A full schedule for the week is below.
Media wishing to attend any training session on the Gillette Stadium grounds - including other SuperLiga teams' training sessions - must notify the Revolution Communications office (media@revolutionsoccer.net) by 5 p.m. the day before to RSVP and guarantee admittance. Media availability usually begins between 11:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. for 10 a.m. sessions, although the length of training sessions can and will vary.
