Frederick Keys News Release

Frederick, MD - The Frederick Keys will be holding Veterans Night at Harry Grove Stadium on Sunday, June 28th, presented by the Martinsburg VA Medical Center.

All military veterans and their families, upon proof of Veteran status with a DD-214 or a VA Health Card, are eligible for $5 General Admission tickets (normally $8 each). In addition, there will be booths around the ballpark with information on the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Maryland Commitment to Veterans, enrollment and eligibility for VA health care, the OEF/OIF Program, and the Woman's Veterans Program at Martinsburg VA Medical Center. This is an ideal opportunity for any veterans without healthcare to find out how they can get coverage while enjoying a night at a Keys ball game.

Ann Brown, the Director of the Martinsburg VA Medical Center, will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game. Also, retired Lt. Col. USA Tommy Wright will sing God Bless America before the seventh inning stretch.

For more information on the Martinsburg VA Medical Center, check out their website at http://www.martinsburg.va.gov/.

The Keys will be playing the Wilmington Blue Rocks that night. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00 PM. Gates will open at 5:00 PM.
