WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25 - PHANTOMS vs. BINGHAMTON SENATORS - 7:05, BROOME COUNTY VETERANS MEMORIAL ARENA
The Phantoms face the Binghamton Senators (Ottawa Senators) this Wednesday for the final time this season in a game that is crucial to the East Division playoff race. With a record of 38-25-5-3, the Senators sit in fourth place in the East Division, eight points ahead of the Phantoms, who have two games in hand. This past Saturday the Senators prevailed in a 2-1 shootout win over the Phantoms at the Wachovia Spectrum. Peter Regin scored twice for the Senators in the shootout including the game winner in the sixth round. Left wing Ilya Zubov currently leads the team with 49 points on 14 goals and 35 assists.
FRIDAY, MARCH 27 - PHANTOMS vs. TORONTO MARLIES - 7:05, WACHOVIA SPECTRUM
The Phantoms start off their three-game weekend home stand on Friday night against the Toronto Marlies (Toronto Maple Leafs). This will be the second and final meeting between these two clubs this season. Toronto starts the week in fourth place in the Western Conference's North Division with a record of 35-27-3-6 for 79 points. Tim Stapleton leads the Marlies with 22 goals and 45 assists for a total of 67 points this season.
SATURDAY, MARCH 28- PHANTOMS vs. GRAND RAPIDS GRIFFINS- 7:05, WACHOVIA SPECTRUM
SUNDAY, MARCH 29 - PHANTOMS vs. GRAND RAPIDS GRIFFINS - 5:05, WACHOVIA SPECTRUM The Phantoms and Griffins will meet for the last two times this season with a pair of games at the Wachovia Spectrum. The last time these two teams met was back in January, when each team took one game apiece at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids. The Griffins have won seven of their last 10 games and are slotted second in the North Division with a record of 41-18-6-6 for 84 points, only four points behind division leader Milwaukee. Darren Haydar currently leads the team with 28 goals and 44 assists for a total of 72 points.
TRANSACTIONS
D Danny Syvret was returned to the Phantoms today after spending most of the last week with the Flyers filling in for Randy Jones. Ryan Parent, Claude Giroux and Darroll Powe are still with the Flyers. D David Sloane joined the club last week on an amateur tryout contract after completing his senior season at Colgate University.
THICK OF THE PLAYOFF RACE
This week's games will go a long way towards determining Philadelphia's playoff fate. The Phantoms are eight points behind the Binghamton Senators with four games in hand entering the final meeting of the year with the Sens on Wednesday in Binghamton. Then the Phantoms are back home for three straight, including one of the games-in-hand which will come on Sunday.

YEAR END AWARDS ON SUNDAY
With all the events surrounding the final hockey games at the Spectrum, the annual Phantoms Awards Night has been moved up to this Sunday when the Phantoms take on Grand Rapids. Prior to the game, the Phantoms will hand out their annual awards to the players who stood out this season.

SIRIANNI NOMINATED FOR REEBOK/AHL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
The Phantoms nominated Rob Sirianni for Reebok/AHL Player of the Week consideration this week. Sirianni had two crucial goals for the Phantoms this week, as they won one 2-1 game over Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and lost another 2-1 contest in a shootout to Binghamton.
NEWS AND NOTES
Philadelphia wrapped up its all-time series against Wilkes-Barre/Scranton with two games over the past week. In 102 contests all-time against the Penguins, the Phantoms went 52-43-2-2 with three ties... The Phantoms had 10 power plays on Friday against the Penguins, marking the second time this season they've had double-digit power plays in a game. The season high was 11 back on November 15 at Hershey... The Phantoms will play their final games against Western Conference opponents this weekend when Toronto and Grand Rapids come to town. After this weekend, the Phantoms will play their final seven games against just three teams - Norfolk (3), Albany (2) and Hershey (2).

The Phantoms have joined with the rest of the American Hockey League in forming AHL Live, a brand-new way to catch Phantoms hockey on the Internet. Once again this year, all Phantoms games, home and away, can be viewed online at www.ahllive.com. The video broadcasts are $6 per game, and a full-season pass can be purchased for $140.
