67's To Pay Tribute to Canadian Forces

(Ottawa ON.) - The Ottawa 67's Hockey Club will host over 700 of members of the Canadian Forces (CF) and their families this Friday night when the team takes-on the Kitchener Rangers at the Ottawa Civic Centre. The team's 7th annual CF Appreciation Night will provide CF families with a fun night out and give 67's fans a chance to shout their appreciation for the service to Canada that CF members are providing.
The evening will commence with a pre-game ceremony that features a Flag Party and welcoming address by the Commandant, Canadian Forces Support Unit, Ottawa - Captain (Navy) Lynn Bisson. Captain (Navy) Bisson and National Defence Headquarters Chief Warrant Officer Michel Ouellet will then take part in a Ceremonial Puck Drop. The starting time for the game is 7:30 PM.
CF Appreciation Night is a joint venture between the 67's and corporate sponsors that purchased tickets for distribution to CF families. Fans are urged to show their support by wearing red to the game.
