Rampage Recall Adam Perry from Arizona

SAN ANTONIO (February 2, 2009) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that they have recalled center Adam Perry from the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Perry, 22, has tallied 18 goals and 27 assists through 31 games with the Sundogs, which ranks second-most points (45) on the team and second-best among rookies in the league. He was named the Oakley/CHL Player of the Week today after tallying eight points (5 goals, 3 assists), including his first professional hat trick (Jan. 28), and was plus-4 in three games last week.

Perry, a native of Peterborough, Ontario, began the 2008-09 season with the Rampage playing in eight games and collecting an assist.

The 5-foot-8, 185-pound rookie spent four seasons with the London Knights of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL) and recorded 207 points (92 goals, 115 assists) in 193 games. He spent the second half of last season with the Belleville Bulls (OHL) where he posted 15 goals and 23 assists in 29 regular season games. Perry played in 21 post-season games, collecting seven goals and 11 assists, with the Bulls who lost to the Kitchener Rangers in the Memorial Cup semi-finals.
