Moose Sign Soares to PTO

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have signed forward Josh Soares to a professional tryout contract.

Soares, 26, has already played in 27 games so far this season with the Peoria Rivermen of the AHL, where he has scored 15 points (8-7-15) and 20 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in 11 games this season with the Alaska Aces of the ECHL, scoring 19 points (10-9-19) and six penalty minutes. The Hamilton, ONT native has appeared in 35 career games in the AHL where he's scored 19 points (10-9-19) and 26 penalty minutes, all with Peoria.
