Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves have named MIKE GORDON as the team's vice president of partnerships. GORDON most recently served as the vice president of sales for the Arena Football League's Chicago Rush, where he oversaw all of the team's corporate sponsorship initiatives.

Under Gordon's supervision, the Rush ranked among the top two teams in the AFL in corporate sponsorship revenue in 2006, 2007 and 2008. He joins former Rush President and General Manager Mike Polisky, who was named president of the Wolves in January.

"I am extremely excited to represent a brand that has a wide appeal with both families and avid hockey fans," said GORDON. "I look forward to building comprehensive partnerships between local, regional and national brands and the Chicago Wolves."

Prior to joining the Rush, the 40-year-old GORDON spent seven years in the athletic department at DePaul University where he served in various roles including ticket manager, director of marketing and assistant athletic director for external affairs.

A native of Arlington Heights and a graduate of Knox College in Galesburg, Ill., GORDON has also performed consulting work for the Chicago Blackhawks, the 1994 World Cup and minor league baseball teams.
