Goaltender BRENT KRAHN denied all 30 Houston shots on Saturday en route to notching his first shutout of the season and 12th of his American Hockey League career; it marked the Wolves third shutout of the season and first since ONDREJ PAVELEC blanked the Providence Bruins, 6-0, on Oct. 29, 2008.

--- JEFF HAMILTON: Leads the team with 28 assists, 39 points and eight power-play goals in 36 games ... Shares second on the squad with 11 goals ... Tallied at least one point in 25 of his 36 outings this season, which includes eight multiple-point performances - five of which were three or more ... Recorded a team-high 14 points (5G, 9A) in 13 matchups during the month of January
--- JOEY CRABB: Posted two goals in two games after being reassigned by the Atlanta Thrashers on Jan. 30 ... Made his NHL debut in 26 games with the Thrashers, recording seven points (3G, 4A) - which includes his first NHL marker on Dec. 10 vs. the New York Rangers - and 28 penalty minutes ... Registered 12 points (7G, 5A) and 25 penalty minutes in 18 games with the Wolves this season
--- BRETT SKINNER: Tallied eight points (G, 7A) in eight games with the Wolves since being acquired in a trade on Jan. 13 ... Ranks third among team blueliners with 20 points, which includes 12 points (G, 11A) in 24 contests with the AHL's Bridgeport Sound Tigers ... Shares second on the club with 18 assists ... Made his NHL debut in 11 games with the New York Islanders this season, collecting four penalty minutes ... Posted eight points (G, 7A) during a seven-game point streak from Jan. 14 to Jan. 30, which matched a team season-high
--- ONDREJ PAVELEC: Amassed a 7-7-1 record, with a 2.31 goals-against average and .919 save percentage in 15 outings this season ... Has held opponents to two or fewer goals in 10 of his 15 contests ... Notched his first career shootout win with a 23-save performance in regulation and overtime and four out of five saves in the shootout on Jan. 29
WOLF TRACKS
--- Chicago has tallied nine short-handed goals, which shares third in the AHL; forwards JOEY CRABB and JORDAN LaVALLEE have each recorded three shorties, which shares second in the league.
--- The Wolves have netted a power-play goal in seven straight games, tying a season-high, while posting a 26.7 rating on the power play during that span (12 of 45); Chicago ranks 26th in the league with a 14.3 percent efficiency rating on the power play (39 of 273).
--- Chicago blanked Houston on five man-advantage chances Saturday, the 15th time this season the team has been perfect on the penalty kill; the Wolves rank 28th in the league with a 79.5 percent efficiency rating on the penalty kill (202 of 254).
--- Left wing BRETT STERLING has recorded two goals in his last three games after netting two markers in his last nine outings; the 24-year-old forward paces the Wolves with 13 goals and ranks second on the squad with 26 points in 37 games this season.
--- Defenseman GRANT LEWIS tallied a career-high three assists against Houston on Saturday; the 24-year-old blueliner leads the Wolves with a +14 plus/minus rating and has notched 16 assists in 37 matchups this season.

--- The Wolves will host their annual book drive, to benefit Book Worm Angels at home games this weekend on Feb. 7 and 8.
