NEWS AND NOTES

The Phantoms killed off all seven Albany power plays they faced on Saturday... Before Saturday's game, Albany had scored just one goal against the Phantoms in three previous meetings this year... Philadelphia's all-star break was the longest of any team in the league. The Phantoms were the only team that was idle on Friday, and didn't play for a week from the 24th to the 31st... When combined with last Saturday, the upcoming week marks the first time since November that the Phantoms have had four games in a row against East Division opponents. It won't happen again until mid-March.

PHANTOMS HOCKEY ON THE INTERNET The Phantoms have joined with the rest of the American Hockey League in forming AHL Live, a brand-new way to catch Phantoms hockey on the Internet. Once again this year, all Phantoms games, home and away, can be viewed online at www.ahllive.com. The video broadcasts are $6 per game, and a full-season pass can be purchased for $140. Also once again this year, fans can listen to just the audio portion of all games free of charge at Phantomshockey.com.
