Moose Jaw, SK: Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Chad Lang announced today that the Warriors have acquired 18 year old forward Dylan Hood from the Kelowna Rockets in exchange for 20 year old left winger Ryley Grantham and a 5th round draft pick in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.

Hood, 18, is a 5'10, 185 pound center/right wing out of Osoyoos, BC. He is a smart two way forward with eight goals and eleven assists for nineteen points in 37 games with Kelowna this season after accumulating ten goals and eighteen points in his 2007-08 season.

"In Hood we feel we are getting a responsible two way forward. He is a tenacious player that skates well and competes extremely hard. We feel he has a lot of potential and given his age and that he has three years of Western Hockey League experience, we are excite to add him to our line up," says General Manager Chad Lang.

"Obviously it's tough to see a player like Ryley Grantham leave your organization. We have witnessed him develop into a power forward that demands respect out on the ice. His commitment to the game has given him the opportunity to be selected by the Calgary Flames in this past year NHL Entry Draft. On behalf of the entire Warriors organization we would like to thank him for his commitment and contribution to our hockey club and wish him the best of luck," commented General Manager Chad Lang.
