(OTTAWA, ON) June 27, 2008 - The Ottawa Rapidz is pleased to announce the teams remaining home games can now be heard in both official languages on the internet. The Rapidz are the only team in the Can Am League to offer bilingual broadcasts of all home games.

Home game broadcasts can be heard in English at www.otttawarapidz.ca/webcast/en. Each broadcast will feature a pre and post game show and will include all the latest Rapidz and Can AM league news, as well as all the latest news from baseball and a baseball scoreboard show. French-language internet broadcasts are also available at www.ottawarapidz.ca/webcast/fr courtesy of Rapidz radio partner CJRC 104.7fm, the Ottawa Rapidz Official French Radio.

"We're determined to offer sports fans easy and convenient access to all our games whether it's in person at the Stadium, on TV, on the radio or on the Internet," said Rapidz CEO Rick Anderson. "The addition of an English language internet broadcast is another step forward for the Rapidz in terms of delivering our team to sports fans throughout the region."

Handling the play-by-play is Howard Bloom the longtime voice of the Carleton University Ravens basketball team. Bloom will be joined by the students from Algonquin College's Sports Business Management program.

CJRC, the French language broadcaster serving Gatineau and the surrounding areas has partnered with the Ottawa Rapidz to broadcast all Rapidz games in French on 104.7 fm, on 1150 am and on the Internet. This is the first time in Ottawa baseball history that local fans can listen to an Ottawa baseball team broadcast in either official language.

The Ottawa Rapidz is proud to bring professional baseball to fans in the Ottawa-Gatineau region in a fun, affordable, family-friendly environment.
