Worcester scored six times in the second inning and cruised to a 10-0 triumph over Quebec. Tom Cochran dazzled the Quebec hitters all night as he went the full nine innings and surrendered just five hits. Erick Nadon's night was the opposite side of the coin as he lasted just four innings and allowed 10 runs, all of them earned. CF BJ Weed and LF Josh Farkes powered the Tornadoes offense as they each homered and finished the game a combined 5-for-9 with five RBI and three runs scored. With the victory the Tornadoes pulled into a tie for first place with the Capitales.

Sussex 12, Atlantic City 6

The Skyhawks offense roughed up Atlantic City starter JC Huguet and pounded out 19 total hits on their way to a 12-6 win. Huguet lasted just 4 1/3 innings and allowed eight runs on 12 hits. Sussex scored four times in the fifth inning to force a pitching change and then scored four more in the sixth inning as well. Six Sussex hitters had multi-hit performances, highlighted by C Yohanny Valera who went 4-for-5 with three RBI and two runs scored. LF Alex Frazier and SS Kevin Rios each had three hits while combining to score four runs and drive in two.

Nashua overcame an early 2-0 deficit and fought off a late charge by New Jersey to beat the Jackals 5-4. Down 2-0 in the fourth inning an RBI double by DH Aregenis Tavarez cut the lead in half. In their next at-bat the Pride took the lead on a two-RBI single off the bat of 1B Bryan Duplissie and added an unearned run for a 4-2 cushion. Ahead 5-2 in the ninth inning closer Andrew Weimer gave up two runs before getting Luke Allen, who'd homered earlier in the game, to pop out to center.
