Loons, Dragons Rained Out

May 9, 2008 - Midwest League (MWL) Great Lakes Loons

DAYTON, OH - A steady downpour of rain in the Dayton area has forced a postponement of tonight's scheduled game between the Great Lakes Loons and the Dayton Dragons.

The game will be made up as a part of a doubleheader tomorrow, Saturday, May 10. The first game will begin at 6pm. Both games will last seven innings in regulation.

Right-hander Kyle Smit (0-2), scheduled to start today, will instead start Game 1 of the twinbill. Lefty Geison Aguasviva will start the second game.

The Great Lakes Loons are the second-year Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and members of the Midwest League. For more information about the Loons, visit Loons.com or call 989-837-BALL.
