Hartford, CT: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager/head coach Jim Schoenfeld announced that the Wolf Pack have signed right wing David Kveton and left wing Jordan Owens to Amateur Tryout (ATO) agreements, effective yesterday.
Kveton, a fourth-round draft pick (104th overall) by the parent New York Rangers in 2006, recently completed his season with the Gatineau Olympiques of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL), where the 19-year-old winger appeared in 31 games, tallying five goals and 27 assists for 32 points along with 17 penalty minutes. The 5-11, 183-pound native of Novy Jicin, Czech Republic skated for the Czech Republic team in the World Under-18 Championships in both 2005 (7 GP, 4-2-6, 4 PIM, led team in goals) and 2006 (7 GP, 2-5-7, 2 PIM, led team in points and assists).

This was good for fourth-best in assists on the Mississauga squad and fifth in goals and points.
