Lifetime Series

This will be the fifth all-time meeting between the Wildcatters and Everblades with Florida holding a 2-1-1 advantage. The Wildcatters win came on October 23, 2004 in Florida as they defeated the Everblades 3-2. The two teams did not meet last season due to the Wildcatters one year layoff created by Hurricane Rita.

Opening Night

The Wildcatters are 0-2 lifetime on opening night. They were defeated at Atlantic City on October 17, 2003 by a score of 7-3 and they lost at Florida on October 22, 2004 by a score of 6-2. This will be the third consecutive season the Wildcatters begin their schedule on the road.

Coach back to old stomping grounds

Coach Cameron was the second captain of the Huntington Blizzard in their inaugural season (1993-94).
