Orioles recall Julio Manon to Baltimore

Ottawa - The Baltimore Orioles today recalled RHP Julio Manon from the Lynx. Manon will fill the spot of LHP Kurt Birkins who was put on the disabled list, retroactive to July 30.
With Ottawa this season, he is 0-1 with 24 saves and a 2.36 ERA in 38 relief appearances. He leads the International League in saves and was the Lynx representative at the Triple-A All-Star Game. Manon was with the Orioles from May 2 through May 22, going 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA in 9 games.
