Durham Bulls News Release
Durham NC - Three Bulls' relievers combined to allow five runs over the final two frames as the Rochester Red Wings downed the Bulls 10-6 on Monday night at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
With a 6-5 lead, Jose Rodriguez relieved Jeff Ridgway and allowed two inherited runners to score in the eighth inning when Tommy Watkins slapped a double to right-center, plating Alex Romero and Donaldo Mendez and giving Rochester a 7-6 lead. The Red Wings struck again in the ninth inning with an RBI-single from Glenn Williams, making it 8-6. Donaldo Mendez capped the Red Wings' victory with a booming two-run home run off the Bull on the Blue Monster in left field to give them a 10-6 lead.
Ridgway (1-3) took the loss for the Bulls, going one and one-third innings while allowing two runs off two hits while striking out two. Bobby Korecky (3-3) picked up the win for the Red Wings, going two innings while allowing one unearned run off one hit and a walk, while striking out two. Kevin Cameron got his eighth save of the season after pitching two scoreless innings with two hits and a walk, while striking out two.

He finished 3-4 on the night with two runs scored, three runs driven in and one walk. Darnell McDonald went 2-5 with two runs scored, and now has hit safely in 34 of his last 35 games.
