SYRACUSE (NY) - The Syracuse SkyChiefs announced today that the winner of the "FANS Pick the Promotion Contest" held on www.skychiefs.com will be announced Tuesday live "On the Block" with Brent Axe on SportsRadio 620 WHEN, which airs 3:00 - 5:00 PM.
Over fifty entries were submitted through an online form which allowed the fans to describe their promotional idea in 50-150 words. A panel of judges including media, fans, SkyChiefs players and front office staff evaluated all entries based on creativity, fan appeal, and practicality.
The fan who submits the winning entry will watch from a luxury suite with 11 other people as their promotion is carried out during the SkyChiefs' game against Ottawa on August 13th.
