DES MOINES, IA - The Iowa Stars and the Iowa Cubs are proud to announce that Tuesday, March 28th, 2006 is Iowa Cubs Day at the Iowa Stars game. The Stars will host the San Antonio Rampage at 7:05 PM at Wells Fargo Arena.
As part of the celebration, the first 2,000 fans will receive an Iowa Stars-Iowa Cubs T-shirt compliments of the Iowa Stars, Iowa Cubs and Competitive Edge. The Iowa Stars mascot, SHOOTER, will be joined by the Iowa Cubs mascot CUBBIE. Both Shooter and Cubbie will be roaming the concourse and stands throughout the game and will be available for autographs during the night. Member of the Cubs staff will also be on hand to distribute information about their upcoming season.
STARS NEXT GAMES: The Iowa Stars welcome the San Antonio Rampage to Wells Fargo Arena on Tuesday night. The first 2,000 fans will receive an Iowa Stars-Iowa Cubs T-shirt compliments of the Iowa Stars, Iowa Cubs and Competitive Edge. Game time is 7:05 PM. Doors open for all home games one hour before face-off. Iowa travels to Milwaukee for a game on Friday night, and then they make their way over to Cleveland to play Saturday and Sunday games with the Barons.
