Nailers to be well-protected on Guns-N-Hoses Night

Wheeling, WV - The Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, the Wheeling Fire Department, and the Wheeling Police Department, will participate in Guns-N-Hoses Night on Sunday, March 26. The Nailers take on Johnstown at 5:05 pm. With all the personnel and equipment at WesBanco Arena it will surely be the safest place in town.

The two units who protect this Ohio County city will do battle in an intermission tug-of-war to determine who is "Wheeling's Finest". There will also be an on-ice demonstration to show the effects of drinking and driving.

The Wheeling Police's Canine Cruiser will be on hand with officers handing out free gun locks and distributing information on underage drinking, car seat safety and the D.A.R.E program will be represented with an information table in the WesBanco concourse.

The Wheeling Fire Department's Patches the Mascot will be greeting fans at the game with firefighters on hand to answer questions and pass out safety information.

A portion of every ticket sold to fans that purchase their tickets through the Nailers' office (304-234-4625) or at the WesBanco Box Office will go to the Law Enforcement Monument and Museum. Donations will also be accepted at the arena.

All fire and police personnel can purchase tickets at the Nailers' office (304-234-4625) for only $8. All kids 17 and under get in for just $8 on Sunday's and can skate with the team following that night's game.
