
Bedard successfully completes first rehab in Bowie

(Bowie, MD) - Erik Bedard successfully completed his first rehab assignment for the Orioles in (AA) Bowie tonight against the Harrisburg Senators (AA) affiliate of the Washington Nationals. Bedard's line was 2IP, 2H, 2R, both earned, 1BB and 4 K's. Bedard's pitch count was 34 pitches, with 25 of them being strikes.
Bedard said after his outing,"At least my knee doesn't hurt, that is the only thing I'm happy about. At least it doesn't hurt, I threw strikes and I feel alright."
