Albuquerque pounded out a season high 13 runs and 21 hits defeating the visiting Zephyrs 13-5 at Isotopes Park on Thursday afternoon. Former Zephyr John Lindsey ripped a home run, scored four runs in a four hit performance for the Isotopes. Jay Gibbons added four hits and Slidell native Xavier Paul had two hits including his second home run of the series. New Orleans outfielder Scott Cousins hit his first home run of the season. Vinny Rottino had a pair of triples in a losing effort. Brent Leach earned the win in relief and Taylor Tankersley took the loss. The Isotopes win the series 3 games to one.

Game Notes: Vinny Rottino became the first Z with two triples in a game since Tripp Cromer accomplished it on May 5, 2003 in Colorado Springs. The Z's have dropped 15 of their last 17 games at Isotopes Park. Donald Murphy seven game hit streak was snapped, he pinched hit in the ninth inning.

Coming Up: The Zephyrs continue the road trip and open a four game set in Round Rock, Texas on Friday night. The Z's will start LH Hunter Jones (0-0, 0.00) against Express RH Shane Loux (0-0.00) RADIO: 106.1 FM WMTI
