Rain forced the stoppage of Monday's series finale between the New Orleans Zephyrs and Tacoma Rainiers with the scored deadlocked at 2-2 in the sixth inning.

Since the teams will not meet again in 2016, the game officially ends as a tie and will not be reflected in the standings, though all statistics will count.

Fans with tickets from Monday's game can exchange them at the Zephyr Field box office for a ticket to any remaining 2016 game, subject to availability.

New Orleans starter Paul Clemens was credited with a complete game no-decision by working 5 1/3 innings before the rains came.

Mike Baxter put Tacoma ahead in the second inning with a solo home run to right, but the Zephyrs' Isaac Galloway responded in the bottom half of the frame with a two-run shot, his fourth of the year.

The Rainiers evened the score in the third when Daniel Robertson tripled to cash in a one-out walk to Zach Shank. Clemens prevented further damage with a strikeout of Chris Taylor and an inning-ending fly out by Efren Navarro.

Cody Martin was charged with two runs and three hits in a spot start for Tacoma, and Casey Coleman chipped in two scoreless innings.

The Zephyrs travel to Memphis to open a four-game series against the Redbirds on Tuesday starting at 7:05 p.m.
