
Zephyrs Drop Three of Four in Arizona

TUCSON, AZ - Mike Wilson and Daniel Robertson each had three hits as the Tucson Padres handed the visiting New Orleans Zephyrs a 7-3 defeat at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium.
Tucson scored five first inning runs and added a run in the second and the eighth innings.
Anthony Bass delivered seven shut-out innings for Tucson. The Padre right-hander allowed two hits and struck-out seven batters in the win. The Z's offense came alive in the eighth when Tucson went to the bullpen scoring three runs on five hits in the inning.
Jared Rogers took the defeat pitching one inning allowed six runs, three earned.
The Z's have dropped three in a row and fall to 60-62 on the season.
Game Notes - The game was final ever game between the Zephyrs and Tucson. Tucson will be relocated to El Paso in 2014. The Z's are 14-46 when the opponent scores first.
Coming Up- The Zephyrs continue the road-trip on Monday from Las Vegas at 9:05. New Orleans will start LH Brian Flynn (4-10, 2.95) vs. 51's RH Giancarlo Alvarado (4-2, 4.02). RADIO: WMTI 106.1 FM "The Ticket".
