
Zephyrs defeat Sounds

New Orleans Baby Cakes News Release
The New Orleans Zephyrs defeated the visiting Nashville Sounds on Saturday 2-0, which puts the Z's on a hot start at 3-0 for the first time since 1999.
Centerfielder Caleb Stewart went 2-4 with an RBI to lead the way offensively. Catch Gustavo Molina chipped in the other run with a sac-fly.
Starting pitcher Ruddy Lugo (1-0) gets the win after shutting out the Sounds and giving up only four hits in six innings of play.
Reliever Nate Field got his first save of the season for New Orleans after no-hitting the Sounds in the final inning.
Nashville starting pitcher Chris Narveson (0-1) got the loss after giving up both runs on four hits in five innings.
The win gives the Zephyrs a 3-0 lead in the four-game series. They will go for the sweep on Sunday in a game scheduled for 2:00 PM CT.
