(Saginaw, MI) The Saginaw Spirit hockey club has named forward Tomas Zaborsky and defenseman Adam Comrie as this week's Covenant HealthCare Players of the Week.
Winger Tomas Zaborsky tallied 2 goals and 3 assists last weekend; he was plus-6. The Trencin, Slovakia native has notched 24 goals and 24 assists in 41 games this season; he is plus-7. Zaborsky is a 2006 draft pick of the New York Rangers.
Rookie defenseman Adam Comrie earned 2 assists and was plus-3 last weekend. The Asburn, Virginia native is in his rookie season with the Spirit and has scored 2 goals and 10 assists in 32 games this season; he is plus-6. Comrie is eligible for the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
