
Knights Name Scott Aarssen Captain

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Scott Aarssen has been named captain of the 2007-2008 London Knights. Aarssen, 19 was voted captain by his teammates and coaching staff. Aarssen was the Knight's 10th Round Pick in the 2004 OHL Draft from the London Jr. Knights and is a native of London, Ontario. Aarssen will begin his Captaincy on Friday, January 18th, 2008 when the Knights host the Owen Sound Attack at the John Labatt Centre at 7:30 PM.
Aarssen replaces Adam Perry as Captain. Perry, 21 was traded to the Belleville Bulls on January 8th , 2008.
The London Knights also named Center Justin Taylor and Right Winger Andrew Wilkins as Assistant Captains. Taylor, 18 and Wilkins, 19 will join 19 year old Defenseman Matt Clarke as Assistant Captains. Clarke, 19 has been Assistant Captain along with Aarssen since the beginning of the 2007-2008 season.
